He belongs to the category of Dinamo's playing greats, a brilliant Maksimir winger, a prototype of the modern wing forward, who won four major trophies with the blues... Our Luka Lipošinović left us forever on 26 September 1992, at the age of 60.

Born on 12 May 1933 in Subotica, he was in Maksimir's first team for more than a decade, from 1951 to 1962. During that time, he won two championship titles, in 1954 and 1958, as well as the Cup Winners' Cup in 1951 and 1960. In total, he played 410 matches scoring 115 goals, and if we reduce the statistics to official matches only, we will notice that in 207 appearances he scored 54 goals.

At his peak, fans affectionately compared him to the celebrated Brazilian winger Garrincha because he possessed tremendous speed, good dribbling on the run, an excellent shot, and such an explosive start that he would easily leave defenders behind.

He started in 1948 at the Zagreb football school where his first teacher was Ratko Kacian, and soon after, in Dinamo's youth teams, he was taken over by Miroslav Mirko Kokotović, also a former famous "blue winger", who earned part of his glory as an excellent midfielder.

Luka's brother Ivan Lipošinović also played for the Maksimir club, wearing the blue jersey from 1962 to 1965.
