There is just one week left to apply for the “Nikola Pokrivač” Scholarship, launched by Dinamo's Nema predaje Foundation to provide financial support to young and talented athletes, primarily from smaller and rural communities across Croatia.

A fund of €20,000 has been secured for the first cycle of the Scholarship, from which ten scholarship recipients will be selected. Each of them will receive €200 per month for ten months, a total of €2,000 in support towards costs related to their sporting and personal development.

The call is open to young athletes who attend school regularly, are actively involved in sport, and have achieved notable results or show clear sporting potential. Particular emphasis is placed on candidates whose financial, geographic or other life circumstances make it harder for them to access quality training, sports equipment, competitions and other conditions needed to progress.

The Scholarship is not intended only for footballers but for young athletes from a variety of sports, and a connection with GNK Dinamo or the Dinamo community is not a requirement for applying for or being awarded the Scholarship.

The Scholarship was launched in memory of Nikola Pokrivač, a former Croatia international and Dinamo player. The fund was created thanks to the Nikola Pokrivač Memorial, donations from citizens and partners, sales of memorial jerseys, and numerous sporting and charity events.

Applications are open until 28 October 2026.
