Dani Rodriguez played his first match in Dinamo's jersey this Wednesday, marking his debut with a goal, while Mislav Oršić scored his first goal since returning to the Maksimir team. These are all details from the friendly match played in Sisak where Dinamo defeated the hosts Segesta 5-0. The Blues thus celebrated the "round" 120th anniversary of Segesta's founding, a former member of the elite level of Croatian football. The Sisak team currently competes at a lower level, as they are currently fifth in the First NL.

Maksimir coach Mario Kovačević fielded two different teams in each half, with only Noa Mikić playing the full 90 minutes. The lineup also featured numerous players from the junior squad and Dinamo B. For instance, Roko Smoje recorded his first minutes for the first team, while from the B team, alongside Mikić, players who had previously appeared in friendly matches for the first team also stepped up: Borna Orlić in the starting XI, and later Dino Škojc, Petar Šimun Žaja, Leonardo Perković and, of course, Fuzy Taylor who has meanwhile also played in a cup match.

Dani Rodriguez and Luka Stojković created a brilliant move in the 12th minute. The Spanish winger played to the right for the blue number ten, a return pass followed to Rodriguez who then used his heel to pass back to Stojković, he struck powerfully, but goalkeeper Lovro Herceg managed to save the net with a fine save.

The first goal came in the 31st minute, Kirill Kravtsov played a short return pass on the left side, Matteo Perez Vinlöf received it and crossed in front of goal, with Stojković heading it into the net. Just two minutes later Iker Almena earned applause for an altruistic move – he broke through alone in front of the opposing goalkeeper, but chose to pass instead of shoot, sending the ball to the right where Stojković extended it with his heel to Rodriguez who powerfully struck the far "small net" from the right side.

Oršić "authored" the most beautiful move of the match in the 38th minute and scored his first goal since returning to Dinamo. Stojković sent a long diagonal pass to the left side, Oršić skillfully controlled it with his left foot and in the next moment lobbed the goalkeeper with his right foot from outside, who was practically on the goal line.

Despite playing with 10 new players in the second half, Dinamo continued attacking, with Miha Zajc using juggling skills to enter the penalty area in the 59th minute, playing a short pass forward where Robert Mudražija ran in from the left and easily placed the ball into the net.

In that second half, the new home goalkeeper Ilija Đilas also stood out, making two difficult saves, first from Mudražija's attempt, and shortly after from Noah Nsoki.

Zajc also set up the fifth goal. He skillfully intercepted a pass in the heart of the opposing penalty area and calmly played through Mateo Lisica who was completely alone in front of an empty goal and calmly slotted it into the net.

A minute before the end, Tonći Kukoč-Petraello tried an attractive move on the other side, skillfully dribbling past his marker on the left wing and attempting a lob with his left foot from outside, but the ball flew over the goal.
