Junior Fernandes left for Turkey

Antenor Junior Fernándes da Silva Vitoria better known as Junior Fernándes is Chilean football player born on October 4th of 1988 in Chile. Although his parents are from Brazil, his family decided to move to Chile where young Junior started to play football. The first club in his football career was Cobreloa and after several transfers he finally settled in Universidad de Chile. His great performance in Universidad's jersey in Copa Libertadores (he scored several important goals) brought attention of German football giant- Bayer Leverkusen. Although Bayer paid 7 million euros for Junior's services he never really got the chance to play for German club and in summer of 2013 GNK Dinamo got the chance to get him contact offer. On July 13th Fernandes made his debut in Dinamo's jersey vs. NK Osijek, and his first appearance for the same club in UEFA's competition happened on July 16th in Champions league 2nd qualification round vs. SC Fola Esch from Luxembourg. Fernandes managed to get in the scoresheet in his Champions league debut- he scored the last goal in 5:0 Dinamo's win.
