Théophile-Catherine signed three-year contract with Dinamo

French-born central defender Kevin Théophile-Catherine officially signed 3-year contract with GNK Dinamo!

28-year-old Théophile-Catherine last played for the French first division side AS Saint-Etienne. Last season he made 27 appearances and can play both as central defender and as right-back. 

"I'm excited to sign for biggest Croatian club and look forward to new challanges", said Kevin after signing a contact with the 'Modri'. 

 

Kevin Theophile-Catherine was born on October 28, 1989. He made his senior debut in the Coupe de la Ligue, playing for Rennes against Le Mans UC 72 on 24th September 2008. Theophile-Catherine scored his first senior goal for Rennes, playing against FC Sochaux on 11th September 2010 in the Ligue 1. Kevin started his career at Stade Rennais FC in July 2004, breaking into the first-team in 2009 and making a total of 117 appearances and scoring 3 goals for the club. In August 2013 he joined Cardiff City for 2.4 million euros and made 31 appearances. During this time he also spent time on loan at AS Saint-Etienne, making 31 league appearances. Theophile-Catherine joined AS Saint-Etienne on a permanent deal in 2014/15 and has made 142 appearances and scored one goal.
