"It's a dream come true"

On official presentation, GNK Dinamo's CEO Igor Kodzoman revealed new club signing. 20-year old attacking midfielder Lovro Majer signed a five-year contract with the 'Modri', joining from NK Lokomotiva. 

"This is dream come true for me! I've spent six years in Maksimir as a kid, those a tougher path and now it helped me to return back. I talked with Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic and made the decision to join Dinamo, which is the best possible step for me at this moment. My goal is to improve and help the team achieve goals", said Lovro Majer, whose idols are Leo Messi and Luka Modric. 

Lovro Majer is a player with a growing reputation among football fans in Croatia. His only Croatia appearance to date came against Mexico in May 2017. Lovo Majer started his career at Dinamo Zagreb and left at the age of 12 to Lokomotiva Zagreb. He broke into the first-team in 2016 and making a total of 62 appearances and scoring 18 goals for the club. His debut in senior football came in June 2016 when Lokomotiva played in qualifiers of UEFA Europa League. As one of the most talented players of Croatia, Majer joined Dinamo on June 27, 2018, and chose no. 10 shirt which, in the past, wore famous players such as Modric and Boban.
