2nd qualifying round

Dinamo versus Hapoel Beer-Sheva in UEFA Champions League

In the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round, GNK Dinamo will play against Israeli champion Hapoel Beer-Sheva. The first leg is scheduled for Tuesday, July 24 at 20 CET, while the second leg will be played on July 31 (19 CET) in Izrael. 

Founded in 1949, Hapoel Be'er-Sheva are a professional Israeli club currently playing in the Israeli Premier League. Hapoel Be'er-Seheva won the Israeli league last three consecutive seasons. The club plays their home games at Turner Stadium and club retains a fierce rivalry with Maccabi Tel-Aviv. 

As a club which is currently enjoying its best ever spell of success - their last competition win coming as recently as 2017 - Hapoel Be'er-Sheva are a club with a growing history. Hapoel Be'er-Sheva won the Israeli top division in 1975, 1976, 2016, 2017 and 2018 and finished runners-up once, won the State Cup in 1997 and finished second best three further times. They won the Israeli 2nd tier for the only time in 2001, and won the Premier League Toto Cup in 1989, 1995 and 2017 and came in second place two times.
