Dinamo U16 Won Istria Youth Cup!

Dinamo U16 team played on strong international tournament called Istria Youth Cup – 2016. Besides Dinamo, tournament (of two groups) consisted of teams such as Manchester City, AS Roma, Tottenham Hotspur, AC Milan and RB Salzburg.

On the matchday 1, Dinamo defeated Italian giant AC Milan 1-0 with a goal from Luka Jančić. Daniel Maldini, son of legendary Paulo Maldini featured in Rossoneri line-up. On the matchday 2, Dinamo won against another strong team. Tottenham lost 4-2 after goals from Edin Julardžija, 2x Ivijan Svržnjak and Domagoj Stranput. In the finale held in Novigrad, Dinamo triumphed with the 2-0 win over RB Salzburg by goals from Damir Magdić and Ivijan Svržnjak.

Regarding awards, Dinamo goalkeeper Renato Josipović was named best goalkeeper, while Ivijan Svržnjak was named MVP of the tournament.
